GP (200) MDM 159 G
Originally GP 150 registered in 1969. Restored and re-built in 1999 and fitted with GP200 engine (Indian I think). Re-registered as a 200 and given present registration number.
Sometime afterwards the engine was tuned and ported (by Mark Stevens) and fitted with a closer ratio gearbox, Li 150 3 as far as I know. It was also fitted with decals and badges as an Arthur Francis S type replica. During this time someone decided to re-stamp the engine as a GP 125, no doubt to fit in with provisional licence requirements. It is still very much a tuned 200cc engine,
In 2009 it was re-painted by Mike Francis and finished again as an Arthur Francis replica.
I purchased it in 2013 and during 2015 it was given an extensive engine re-build by Rob.
New bearings/seals
Piston rings (no wear in bore)
New Clutch
New Stator
Del Orto 28 mm carb
Genuine Ancilloti big bore exhaust
Hagon rear spring
Alloy rims and tubeless tyres.
The engine has done probably less than 2000 miles since re-build.
