The backrest is now fitted with a St/s plate that fits underneath the frame under the carrier with captive nuts so the carrier is ‘sandwiched’ fitted top and bottom making for a much better and stronger fitment

When fitting to the TG ( Lambretta series2 style ) spacer alloy block covering the rear of the underside of the bracket will need to be used under the rear bracket to compensate for the slope of the rear of the frame so the rack sits horizontal and flush
